Our Daily Bread Was Penned & Compiled By Peter O'Neill
Well... To Me...
One of the most memorable verses in the Lords prayer is, "Give us this Day Our Daily Bread." Sadly though, in day to day life, people are often hesitant to ask or believe that God wants to help them with their daily needs. They worry or fret or fume, but seldom claim for God to really change things & supply their needs. Big... Huuuge Mistake.
You've got to be willing to ask for God's Help or you're in trouble. On our own we can do nothing. But... With Him... Anything Is Possible! He Can Do What We Can Not Do... & He's More Willing To Give Than We Are To Receive.
One of the most precious promises in the Bible is Philippians 4:19 My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Think of it. God made this whole world, The Whole Universe, Every Star..., Every Planet, Every Atom, Every Molecule... The Whole Kit & Caboodle! If you are His child and trying to do the best for Him... what do you think he wants for you!
Don't know??? OK... Say you have a kiddo and that child loves you and tries to do their best to obey you and follow you and be what you want him or her to be... what are you going to do for that little one? Dump it out on the street? Forsake it to mean cruel people to use and hurt? No You are going to do everything you can to protect and provide for that child because they are precious to you.
How Much More Does God Want
To Provide For His Children?
Every kid that wants something from his folks knows... it ain't gonna happen if he just sits there. He's Gotta Ask For Their Help. They'll probably tell him to do what he can... but then... they are not going to leave him hanging... they're going to do what he can't.
Same goes for God. He wants us to do what we can, but then He will do what we can't. He Never Fails!
That supply thing... is not just a cash thing... it is a life thing! Money, and wealth come and go, but the most precious thing is love and God's blessing, good relationships with people and a heart full of hope and faith... Supply Of All your Needs Both Spiritually and Physically. Your Dreams & Hopes Coming True... THAT'S WHAT HE CAN DO!
Riches in those things that last forever. So in answer to the question at the top of the page... YES God Wants You to be Rich ... so much so... that you pour out on others... pour out love & inspiration... & help to those in need! That's what the Almighty Wants for You & Me & Every Single One of His Children!

THE LORDS PRAYER
Matthew
6
1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them:
otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet
before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets,
that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their
reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what
thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth
in secret himself shall reward thee openly. 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites
are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the
corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto
you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when
thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy
Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen
do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth
what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this
manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be
thy name.
10 Thy kingdom
come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this
day our daily bread.
12 And forgive
us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
And A Closing Verse To Chew On
Seek Ye 1st The Kingdom Of God... And All These Things Will Be Added Unto You! Matthew 6:33 Not Just Our Daily Bread... But... Even The Desires Of Our Hearts! No Good Thing Will He Withhold From Those That Walk Uprightly. Psalms 84:11
