Most People Have a Boss who’s tryin' to make a buck... and that's understandable. Sadly though they are often not too interested in their workers, but mainly how they can be used. Even Great Bosses, who do care, often have weaknesses that create issues,
He was trying to teach us that the greatest among us... would be the servant of all. And trust me our feet stank. We walked dusty, dirty roads, frequented by all sorts of animals... and we had nothing but sandals. So washing our feet was a dirty job. Nothing like you see these days in re-enactments. But it was something that was necessary... and needed. Our Boss Did That For Us!
One time when he went with his mom to a wedding they ran out of wine. His mom asked him to do something... before the whole thing became a bust and he changed water into wine. Not just wine, but the best wine! (How cool is That?) What looked like a disaster for the newlywed couple turned out to be a great success!
He's like that a lot you know... He Saves The Best For Last... And He Knows How To Turn Things Around! He Loves To Get Victories Out Of Seeming Defeat!
Time and again... when folks were really sorry He Forgave them of their sin and saved them from their problems. Mary Magdalen was about to be stoned and he stopped the mob from killing her and then forgave her. Her life changed forever.
Matthew was a crooked Tax collector... a real scum bag, but he was so moved by the boss that he really changed... gave back what he had stolen and changed his life. The Boss forgave him and he became one of his most loyal followers.
The List Is Almost Endless...
But Suffice It To Say...
The Boss Is Big On Forgiveness!
As a staff and crew we all kind of made a lot of mistakes and blow its! Like in any company... that means you're gonna get canned or fired or whatever you want to call it! But Our Boss... He took the blame for our mistakes and failures and he paid the price! He got canned and fired for our mistakes.
He loved us so much he was willing to die for us and for all the funky things that we had done!
And That's Why...
He Is Just The Best Boss Ever!
Because He Took My Punishment...
I'm alive today!
Won't You Come & Meet The Boss
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lordhath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of theLord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
