Life Is Tough Was Penned & Compiled by Peter O'Neill
We all get tried in the fires of life. God allows it like he did with Job and a million others. The question is do you give up in your heart or do you set your heart towards Heaven and get up and go on the attack for God and those things that really matter.
If we choose getting up and going on for God
He will Not Fail Us...
He Will Not Let Us Down...
He Will Never Leave Nor Forsake Us.
Every character in the Bible... every person we meet in life... all have had their Garden of Gethsemane.
Life is tough for everybody.
Even the world recognizes the importance of getting back up and fighting. The Net is chocked with inspirational quotes on the subject.
How much more this is true for us... when lives and souls depend on us being there... depend of us refusing to quit. We have been given the greatest gift of life and love... how could we fail others.
1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
Think about what Jesus went through. Here he came to help us and heal us and save us... And what did he get for his trouble! He was beaten and mocked and scourged ... ridiculed... spit upon. and finally crucified and murdered.
Not even then ... not after all of that did He give up. Instead He got up and rose up from the grave and he came back and He WON! We follow the greatest winner there ever was!
He came as a meek and mild baby but he grew into a courageous man, the son of God who was willing to fight for us all.
